  3. Avoid tanning the targeted area to minimize discomfort.
  4. Avoid caffeine and alcohol 24 hours before the treatment as they confuse the body about which waste to eliminate.
  5. Avoid smoking as it can delay results.
  6. Avoid anti-inflammatories and blood thinners (e.g., aspirin) as they make you more susceptible to bruising.
  7. Don’t come on an empty stomach; eat a light, healthy meal before your 1-2 hour appointment.
  8. Cancel your appointment if you have an open wound in the targeted area.
